A great outcome for our first visit to East Lansing.  It was a fantastic atmosphere 12 Other teams
and gave us a chance to see what a "big" invitational looks like.  We will
see similar invitationals in the next few weeks and this gives us some experience for the future.
This meet completed our 3rd tough workout in a very short 5 days.  If your legs didn't feel bouncy you had very good
reason after this challenging week.  Although it may not have felt great today the workouts will pay off later in the
season.  The strength and endurance we're building now will benefit our team in October.
The 10 PR's are a huge accomplishment on tired legs.  Great job competing and going after your personal
record -- this makes our team stronger later in the season.  Continue pushing each other in practice!!!!
With a bye this week we'll rest a little and finally give you a small taste of some speedwork.  Be patient because this
is the beginning of an exciting time in the cross country season.  We're holding you back a little until the time is right
for you to get more speed and fast legs.  Lowell and Jackson are the next challenges ahead -- keep your focus
toward the end of the season.  Keep working together and establish this strong pack we'll need in October!!!
