This little meet that started with 2 teams 7 years ago has turned into a showcase of talent in West Michigan.  The
atmosphere in our own backyard is a big reason why cross country is such a great sport.
As we stated before the meet we needed to get a meet under our belt.  We raced very well on the toughest course you
will see all season.  That experience in a race now allows you to make some adjustments and shoot for some goals
in our next meet.  Look at your splits and evaluate your race.  Where did you drop off?  Is there anything you could
have done differently?  What part of the race was a success?  What part of the race do you need to focus on?
Although we had some packs established, we can do much better!  Remember the way we practice gets us prepared for
the way we race.  Great work today - our next stop is Wednesday at a new course for the Lakewood Invitational.
